The 2008-2009 Television season is seeing the all-time highest numbers of GLBT characters on gay tv. Who would’ve thunk that waaay back when when Ellen Degeneres came out on her tv show and the nation was shocked (gasp) that today her situation is now becoming mainstream? thank goodness for progress.
